Is someone really interested in me?

I got an email...I have several email accounts and one old one that I rarely check said, "You had one profile view." Intrigued, it was from Classmates.com. I have barely even used Classmates.com much less remember that password amongst the millions that I have. So I requested that they resend the password to me. I actually kind of forgot about it and then I checked my email again. When I logged into classmates.com, I saw that I could view others profiles but anonymously. Well, yeah, I wouldn't want someone else to get that same email I got that said, "You have one profile view."

It made me start to wonder, "Who in the world is looking at my profile?" It was kind of like finding out that someone has a crush on you...well, it could have been someone accidentally clicking on me instead of someone else for all I knew! So a day or so later I decided to go back and log in and there it said, "You have an email." I saw that it was from someone that I haven't talked to since the late 1980s or early 1990s. We were friends in elementary school and we just stopped talking around our freshmen year in high school. She did some mean things to me back then and we just went our separate ways...hung out with different crowds. I never held a grudge or anything. And when I read on-line that she had moved with her husband and two sons to Indianapolis, it was like, "Hmm...has she changed?" I am too frugal to spend $15 to read the email that she sent me so I changed my setting so that someone would know that I looked at their profile, sent her an email hoping that she would check it and that she actually pays to be a member so that she can check the email. The big question is that if she does respond, do I try to make contact? She would not know that I've moved to Indy since I haven't updated my profile.

It makes me wonder how different people are-I'm sure many people are different from their high school years-me included. But yet I feel that I am fundamentally the same person.
